What is "The Ghost Boat"?

While the Triangle Route (Vashon, Southworth, Fauntleroy) awaits the return of a third scheduled boat, WSF has introduced an unscheduled vessel, officially called the "bonus boat" or informally, the "Ghost Boat." This boat does not appear on the schedule and is not announced in advance. When crew and a vessel are available, it provides additional service on the route between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., seven days a week. The boat may enter or leave service at any time.
